A meditation cushion, often called a zafu, can help support your meditation practice by improving posture, comfort & thereby focus. Sitting on the floor can seriously strain the back, so by elevating the hips slightly above the knees, cushions support an easier angle of the pelvis & hip joints, support the natural curves of the spine & allow your body to relax into stillness & maintain your seat longer.

Whether you’re a seasoned meditator or just beginning your journey, a meditation cushion can provide a stable and comfortable foundation, helping you deepen your practice and connect with a sense of calm and mindfulness.

Pro Tip: Sit toward the edge of your cushion rather than right on top – this will likely align the pelvis better.
