Yoga reminds us that everything is a balance. We need the dark with the light, the go-go-go with the rest & the softness to balance our strength.
I’ve gotten the comment more than once over the years that my gentle yoga classes can be more physically challenging than a fast-paced vinyasa. It no doubt breaks a common stereotype to exert yourself while moving slowly. But really, all I’m ever trying to achieve with my gentle yoga sequences is the balance.
Next time you roll out your mat (for on-demand class today?!), remember that you are a multi-faceted being & that your yoga is here to connect you deeper to each side.
